The Bench

  • For a chemist, "The Bench" usually refers to the area where you set up or work-up chemical reactions.  This bench however, doesn't deliver new chemical entities, but serenity.

 

  • Building the work bench was my very first project in this garage, er, woodshop. The bench is anchored to the wall studs for stability.

 

  • It holds my oscillating spindle/belt sander, miter saw, drill press, various jigs and hand tools.  It also holds the woodshop sound system for jamming those saw dust producing tunes.
