My Porter Cable 3.25 hp beast (PC-7518) mounted in homemade router table. The table is made from 2-pieces of 3/4" MDF glued together and is attached to the right side of my old table saw.
I use an aluminum (WoodPecker) router plate that is capable of accepting very large bits in the widest opening (3-9/16") and is VERY resistant to sag.
The fence has an adjustable
opening
and it is attached to the table saw fence with screws.
I also inserted a miter track to accommodate jigs.
