GW Amazon Store

January 29th, 2018

Well, I’m giving this another shot.  For the second time I’ve opened an Amazon Affiliate Store with the hopes that it’s less of a failure this time.  This one is embedded directly within my website where the last one was a stand-alone Amazon Affiliate site.

I’ve filled the shelves with tools that I currently use in my shop and would recommend to anyone.  When you make a purchase, Amazon throws a few pennies in my direction (small percentage of the sale). My hope is that if you are interested in a tool that I am using that you’ll purchase it through my Amazon Affiliate Store.  I’ll put all of the pennies in a jar and I’ll use them to keep Garage Woodworks going.

Braving the Cold

January 6th, 2018

Next week I shave my winter beard and brave the cold for my first video of 2018.  Production starts Monday morning and I am not excited about freezing my tail off.  I have a small propane heater, but it’s less than adequate.  If anyone knows of a good kerosene forced air heater let me know in the comments; I’m in the market for one.

See you soon!

Almost Over

December 10th, 2017

The end of 2017 is closing in fast and I’ve been reflecting on the projects I’ve made this year and thinking of projects to make to kick off 2018.  My wife gave me a few ideas for projects that she’d like for the house.  Aside, from projects, I think that I’m also going to produce a few technique-style videos for early next year as well.

If there are project or technique-style videos that you’d like to see from Garage Woodworks in 2018, let me know in the comments below or send me a note.  Also, please let me know which projects from this year that you really liked or inspired you.

As an aside, If you haven’t seen it, I recently completed a bed video series.  It was a successful project which my son Nathan is getting use out of now.
