Dual Monitor Stand Progress

Saturday, March 14th, 2015

I am into the second weekend with my monitor stand build.  I am extremely anxious to get this finished so that I can get rid of the speakers that are currently holding my monitors.

Today, I finished all of the joinery and glued everything together in two stages.  Tomorrow, I hope to have the top finished and attached.  Making good progress!

Dual Monitor Stand

Monday, February 23rd, 2015

I am in the design phase of a dual monitor stand for my PC.  I do a lot of computing in the living room while watching television.  To the left of my chair is my PC which rests on the floor.  Currently, when I use my PC, I use two old stereo speakers as a monitor stand and it looks pretty hideous.

I want the new monitor stand (which must support two monitors) to be able to slide out of the way when not in use.  This is what I’ve come up with.
